Them Tops is specifically designed to avoid the “swallowed by your shirt” feeling. Our shoulder seam sits closer to the natural shoulder line, the sleeves are proportioned intentionally, and the body is straight rather than simply oversized.

A good boxy fit should feel relaxed through the body without looking like you simply sized up.

A regular fit usually follows more traditional T-shirt proportions and may taper slightly through the body. If it’s a traditional women’s shirt then it will curve inwards towards the body.

A boxy fit is straighter and more structured, creating more room through the torso without relying on an oversized shape.

A cropped tee is primarily defined by where the shirt ends, and cropped tees try to end at the waist or just above the belly button (even up to two inches above). That distinction is especially important with The Shortie T.  The Shortie is not a cropped version of The Structured T. It was engineered specifically for shorter torsos, with less length through the body so the shirt can land more proportionately without riding too high.

Our shirts are 100% cotton and may shrink very slightly if washed and dried. To keep them looking and fitting their best for longer, we recommend washing in cold water and hang-drying.

Because our tees are designed to maintain a structured silhouette, we recommend following the care instructions on the garment label closely.

The point of Them Tops is versatility.

The neckline was designed higher than many traditional T-shirts to offer more coverage for binders and sports bras. Some also use a combination of trans tape, compression shirts, and other layering options. In addition to this, the neckline is ribbed, so it has some elastic to hold its shape and not stretch out. 

That detail was part of the original fit problem Them Tops is here to solve. Many existing shirts either feel too feminine in shape or have proportions and necklines that do not consider the way masculine-of-center and gender-expansive people dress. 

Because every binder, sports bra, body, and preferred level of coverage is different, we still recommend reviewing the product measurements before ordering.

We use “gender evolved” intentionally rather than positioning the brand as gender neutral.

Our focus is not on removing gender expression from clothing. It is on creating more room for masculine expression across different bodies and identities.
